Sandwich of the Week!

It is the middle of the week, and I am still alive and happy! Although I have to admit, me and my hot friend the Sun, are not getting along very well, but I guess I'll have to get used to him. Today I have finally gone to all of my classes. :) Monday & Wednesday are my busiest days ever! I have 4 classes, Critical Inquiry, French (which I just registered for), Math, and English. Today I was alone but with a lot of people around me, and because I like an hour in between each classes, I have to pass the time somehow. So even though there are other people around me, and we do eye contact, and maybe offer each other a smile, there is no further social interaction. I guess that is one  I kind-of-like-but-not-really thing.
Ohh! Today there was some kind of confusion with the teacher, our internet schedule, and us, the students. The internet schedule said our class was in a different classroom than the one we were in. (Context: Some students are early to class, so we just wait, and a girl says that they have changed the classroom, so we start checking our phones, and yeah it has changed.) So we go to the other building, and the teacher is not there, so we waited about 10-15min after the class started. Finally we decide to go back, and yeah!, big surprise, everyone else is there in class -.- . We get in, and the teacher asks, "Did you go to the other building?", so we said "Yes!", and we was like "Yeah! We didn't change today, but we will on Friday". I was like "YOU DON"T SAY!!!!"
Ohh! I got my bike from the bike-fixing-place. They gave my bike a new tire! So tomorrow, I would have the going-to-UTEP-experience! WUHU!
TO end the day, me and my roommate, went to our friend's house, (her name is Ivy) and we talked about college, school, and stuff, we had dinner (quesadillas, with chorizo) and we laughed, and had a good time. And when we were coming back, Eva and me decided to stop and enjoy the beauty of the mountain view. So we took some pictures, until Eva got a little panicked and we had to run for our life!!

Ohh First Day! What a Day!

So I woke up today,  took a shower, my roomie made me breakfast, & I got ready for my "almost-kind-of-perfect first day". I go outside and get on my bike, but wait! My bike's wheel has decided to get rid of all it's air, so using my bike was not an option. (I start to panic.) Then I try to use my roomie's bike, but what's that? Roomie's bike doesn't want to work today. (I panic a little more.) So, I try to use the bus, but that doesn't work, because I didn't know the times and those things. (I panic a lot!). So I go by car (without parking permit), I get there 7:20, for my 7:30 class, and WAIT! There is a huge line to pay the parking ticket! So yeah! Ladies and gentleman I was late for my first college class! :( But everything else was kind-of-almost-perfect! I really liked my classes. Today I had Critical Inquiry, Pre-Calculus, and English. I liked them all, for today! C:

I also walked like A LOT!!! But I guess I just have to get used to that! I loved the environment of College! I feel so "grown-up". Well not really... but now I am Olga Dueñas College Girl!
We also made dinner.. that turned our really good. We made a very delicious chicken with lemon-chili salsa, rice, and obviously salad. For our first dinner, it was over the top!
I didn't take any pictures of my day... I was kind of busy taking it all in! But I did take a picture of our delicious dinner!

New Adventure

Hello! My name is Olga Dueñas, and I will start college tomorrow at the University of Texas at El Paso.  I've been dying to create a blog but I never had the chance to do it! So I guess this is the perfect excuse! I'll write  about my life and that stuff!  I guess some may say it is dumb but I am really excited about my blog and this new experience.

I just moved in yesterday, & my family helped me move to my new apartment. I am a little nervous about living alone but I am hoping the best!  I will also live with my friend Eva, I guess I can call her my roomie now. 

Tomorrow is my super first in the College of Business Administration. 

So from now... I'll just take it one day at a time, trying to figure it all out! :)
